Supersymmetry - Laurel Halo.
As Laurel Halo once said herself: “My music draws from my love of ambient, techno, garage, psych, prog, synth music, soundtracks…I think it exists in a space between all these different sounds.”
Sounding like the ornate, hooky love-child of The Sisters Of Mercy and Animal Collective, Supersymmetry is all that and more. Laurel Halo hails from Michigan, but now calls Brooklyn home, amalgamating a Detroit club pedigree with New York indie cred. If her accomplished and varied EPs are anything to go by, Laurel Halo is a star on the rise.
